Dr Eddie Mukooyo is a Public Health and Information Specialist with expertise in Health Informatics, Monitoring and Evaluation. Dr Mukooyo obtained a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology and Bio-Statistics from Case Western Reserve University in the USA and a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from Makerere University in Uganda. As Head of the Resource Center at the Ministry of Health he is involved in designing, developing and implementing a national Health Management Information System. He is also part of the team that is overseeing the development of a health information services center that aims to provide national leadership and expertise to achieve long-term improvements in public health.
