Gontse Masemaka Ramela is an Acfee Intern.
She is a young enthusiastic, ambitious and motivated lady who was born and bred in Johannesburg, South Africa. Gontse’s interest lays in promoting health and preventing diseases within societies by making use of ehealth. She completed her Foundation Programme in Public Health in 2013 and in 2016 completed her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health with Criminology as her elective at the University of Monash South Africa.
During the commencement of her degree between 2014 and 2015 Gontse participated in the Monash South Africa Foundation Programme Student Tutoring program where she tutored Mathematics and Health and Social development. In 2016, she completed a 3 weeks course; preventing the Zika virus: understanding and controlling the Aedes mosquito course with the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
Gontse interned at Humana People to People in South Africa in 2016.
