My area of interest lies in Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health specifically, in the areas of Adolescent Family Planning and Reproductive health, New born and Child Health and how electronic and mobile health may contribute to improving health outcomes in MNCAH in resource-constrained settings. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, and have completed core courses on the Master of Public Health, Makerere University College of Health Sciences. Further, i possess management experience of Public Health Programmes in the field of emergency care. I have previously managed a Pre-Hospital Emergency Care program for the Global Emergency Care in rural south western Uganda. The project aimed at improving access to quality emergency care services at Nyakibale Hospital's Emergency Department, while also improving the capacity of lower level health workers to effectively manage emergent conditions.

Charles Emma Ofwono
SRHR Advocate | Social Entrepreneur | Creative Facilitation TrainerCharles’ past work has revolved around youth programming with a focus on the sexual and reproductive health of adolescents and youth. He joined Naguru Teenage Information and Health Centre in 2007, as a peer leader in the Youth club, and in 2010 became the club coordinator and rebranded it into a Post Test Club. The club provides continuous psycho-social support to young people both in communities and schools. Besides coordinating the work of the Post-Test Club, he supports the advocacy efforts of the organization and coordinates data and ICT interventions. Charles has over the years supported local and international organizations and associations to put sexual and reproductive health and rights at the forefront of their youth health programming. He is currently a member of the Adolescent Health working group in the Ministry of Health, supports the Society of Adolescent Health in Uganda (SAHU) Charles is also a board member of the Uganda AIDS Commission and represents the Youth constituency and has provided technical support to the Government of Uganda/UNFPA 7th and 8th country Program in Northern and Western Uganda with an aim to strengthen youth corners and accessibility to sexual and reproductive health services and information.

Denel has a background in nursing, graduating from Chatsmed Candlelight Nursing School with 3 years of experience. She then went on study at the University of Witwatersrand, graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor in Clinical Medical Practice. In 2016 she worked at Get Health Private clinics where she was promoted to Clinic Manager just 2 months after employment.
